A fleet of three small radar satellites, known as the RADARSAT Constellation, is being designed to complement the legacy RADARSAT program. The RADARSAT Constellation will benefit Canada and other countries by providing more timely and comprehensive data than is currently available; this can help enhance navigational safety, detect oil spills, monitor floods, etc. GlobVision developed a decision support technology for RADARSAT Constellation that can be used in constellation commanding, health monitoring and fault diagnosis. GlobVision’s decision support tool integrates model-based and case-based reasoning systems and algorithms to accurately monitor and diagnose faults for the constellation of satellites.
