GlobVision Selected to Brief NATO on Leading Canadian Technology

Date released: June 10, 2021

Sector: Space, Aerospace & Defence

Recently, NATO sought proposals from industry for solutions related to applications that can improve or contribute to Space Situational Awareness for use by the NATO Space Center in Allied Air Command (AIRCOM).

GlobVision is pleased to announce that it has been selected and has been invited to present an advanced software platform called SCOP during the first-ever NATO Space Pitch Day on June 17th 2021. The presentation will be shared with more than 900 NATO participants. Among a great number of proposal submissions from all NATO member states, GlobVision has been one of only six companies to have been selected.

GlobVision will present its SCOP (Space Common Operating Picture) software solution in response to this opportunity. SCOP was developed with support from Canadian Department of Nation Defence (DND). SCOP benefits from GlobVision’s SSAVision, a fully integrated Space Situational Awareness software suite that is in daily use by DNDs Space Operations Center.

SCOP integrates and combines fundamental components of a space common operating platform geared towards Space Domain Awareness (SDA) superiority.

NATO’s selection of GlobVision confirms that SCOP is of great interest to NATO. This opportunity further convinces us that the work that we have accomplished is equally important for both Canada and our Allies.

We are honored and proud to be flag-bearers for Canada and Canadian technology.
