SAFETY

All structures or facilities have disastrous failure modes that can lead to serious material disintegration or loss of human life. It is therefore critical to monitor factors, both internal and external, affecting those structures. Through various projects GlobVision has developed solutions that add intelligence to monitoring activities and enable the experts to better focus their attention on the conditions requiring their attention. The solution is also able to isolate and highlight critically urgent situations.

The logical extension of capabilities of such solutions is their use in the systematic monitoring of highly critical facilities such as power plants and refineries that require not only the detection of anomalous operating conditions but also of conditions that are unauthorised or demonstrating out of the ordinary patterns of system behaviour.

For a brief overview of GlobVision’s capabilities in this field, see the following summaries of recent projects: Dams, Earthquake Completeness Map, and Fault Diagnosis of Satellite Subsystem.
