TRAFFIC COUNT ESTIMATION
AND MONITORING

GlobVision developed a system to compensate for random malfunctions of traffic sensors on some of the main bridges in the Montreal region.

In order to compensate for missing or erratic data and provide the information necessary for the optimal planning of lane closing for routine maintenance work on these capacity-limited infrastructures, GlobVision developed a solution that made use of existing data without having to perform costly sensor maintenance or time-consuming manual count/verification.
